Oceania -and especially Australia, Tasmania & New Zealand- is one of my dearest dream. And I have decided, that I will head my big trip over there in December 2010.

I don't usually like to see so far away, but I want this experience to be unforgettable, and most of all I want it to happen! I therefore need to save the money, which is something I am very bad at. I need a dead-end limit, to be sure I make this trip reality.

So here we are, I now open this page, where you can follow the evoluation of this trip's scheme. A page that'll keep me patient until then.

Australia This wilde land has so much to offer, it will be hard to select the places to visit. Each region has its own treasure to discover, whether you like history, adventure, culture, or leisure and fun. I want discover it all, have a glance at all its beauties.

I therefore thought of a round trip by train/ plane. Starting from the New South Wales.

To be seen is the obvious Sydney, its Harbour Bridge and the non-most famous Opera House, at the very end of the somptuous Botanic Gardens. Around its active center, spread greeny suburbs and white sand beaches, along the twinkling azur sea. Behind Sydney also start the Blue Mountains which is idealistic for bushwalking. You'll encounter sandstone, deep canyons, thick forest of eucalyptus, waterfalls and all kind of fauna and flora. Also to be seen is the Hunter Valley well-known for its vineyards.

Canberra, or "meeting point" is the result of the fight that opposed Sydney and Melbourne to decide which one was to be the capital of Australia. Canberra shelters numerous museums, starting with the National Museum of Australia, which retraces the History of the country.

South of Canberra are the Snowy Mountains, which contrast deeply with the desertic areas of the north west of the New South Wales, showing one more time the variety of landscapes Australia offers.
